Asma was so helpful, even letting us leave our bags in the locker room for a few hours after checkout. We only stayed one night, but the room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and the Marina was close by and easy to reach. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Thanks, we'd happily come back.

The café dinner was a highlight: we had chicken fajita, shawarma, and spicy buriyani, and all three were really good. The fajita came with bread instead of a tortilla or flatbread, which gave it a different taste. Our three rooms were all laid out differently, with a double bed, two twins, and a king bed, but each was clean and roomy. The bathrooms were clean too, though we had to run the water briefly to clear the rust; after that it was hot and refreshing. The AC worked well. The hotel sits just off the main road, so it was quieter than places on Sheraton Road, although our taxi had some trouble finding it from the airport. Wi-Fi was patchy, which seems expected in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the place and the service from everyone.

The staff were friendly and ready to help with any questions, and the room had plenty of space, a balcony, and a rain shower. The Golden sun worked well for lots of different kinds of travelers. There were a few things that could be better: some spots on the sheets, too many mosquitos, and breakfast could improve. Still, we had a really good stay. 🙂

The room was shabby, with a few broken things, and noise from the bar downstairs went on late. Breakfast was poor too. It was made early and served warm in an unpleasant way, with sweaty cheese and stale bread. The staff, at least, were always cheerful and helpful.
