For $27 usa a night, the rooms are air-conditioned and cold, the elevator works, the location is good, and the people weren’t mean or anything. The rooms look like they were four-star back in the 1980s, though. It just needs updating and modernizing to be a great little hotel. You get what you pay for, so stop complaining and either pay more to stay elsewhere or accept it and enjoy the location and savings.

It’s a really nice, clean place for this price range, and the staff are friendly. You have everything you need. The Marina is a two-minute walk away and Sherry street is five minutes away, right in the heart of the city.

They didn’t speak English. They tried to charge us for drinks that were included in our offers, and even though I asked beforehand if they accepted credit cards and was told yes, there was no card machine. There was hair in the food, and they mixed up our dishes with another table’s. One appetizer took an hour to arrive, and they wouldn’t let us cancel it.

It’s dirty, uncomfortable, and everything is old. The only thing going for it is the location, right in the city center. Don’t take what Arabs say about the hotel’s cleanliness as a positive recommendation.
