The food was very good, with plenty of tasty choices every day, and the staff were always welcoming and ready to help. Jaz Makadina is beautiful and well cared for, from the clean, elegant surroundings to the comfortable atmosphere. It made for a really enjoyable vacation, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great holiday.

We chose this hotel after reading all the positive reviews and came away glad we did. The cocktails looked great and tasted just as good, and there was a strong choice of food at any time of day. The rooms and grounds were clean and well kept. Staff were especially kind and looked after us with real care. The entertainment team brought variety to our sunny days without being pushy. Sunny deserves a mention in particular, she was always ready to listen.

The beach was lovely, clean, and great for swimming or just relaxing. The hotel had a pleasant, laid-back feel that made it easy to enjoy the holiday. Our rooms were comfortable, tidy, and well maintained, and the food was excellent, with lots of choice and impressive quality each day. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. The animation team kept their energy up and made the activities fun, so there was always something to do in the day and evening. I had a fantastic stay at Jaz Makadina and would gladly return or recommend it for a holiday in Egypt.

Jaz Makadina was spotless and beautifully looked after, with a wonderfully relaxing feel. The facilities were top notch, and there was loads of variety in the consistently delicious food. Everything from arrival to departure was better than I expected.

Snorkeling straight from the beach was a real plus, and the food and drinks were very good. Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful. When I was unwell for a day, the managers and chefs were keen to help with special food and other support. George in the upstairs bar, Mosad in the main buffet, and Tariq at the pool bar deserve a particular mention. It’s a lovely hotel.
