JAZ Neo Ivory Hotel

I stayed at Jaz Neo Ivory Hotel for one night before an early flight, hoping to get some rest, but the room was so noisy that sleep was almost impossible. The airport transfer I arranged through the hotel was paid for in advance at a price around ten times the usual market rate. Then, at the airport, the driver demanded more money. That felt like a scam and was completely unacceptable. This was the worst experience of my trip. I feel both the hotel and the driver took advantage of me, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The studio has an oriental feel, with decor that suits the area around the hotel. I liked the design, clean rooms, convenient airport location, nearby services, and friendly staff. One thing I noticed is that the price for the same room gradually went up, without a clear reason. I’d consider staying again, and hope they maintain the standards while keeping the price down.

Breakfast was the best part for us: a buffet with lots of choices for different tastes, plus a chef making omelets. The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful, and the pool was clean, though we didn’t swim. The rooms have old furniture, and drinks in the minibar cost extra. The security guards were friendly and always helped us get the baby stroller through the door.

The rooms are huge and the value for money is amazing. That’s the positive I can honestly give the room. This is a three star hotel and gets a three star rating, but it could deserve more if a few things were fixed: 1) The AC needs maintenance as soon as possible. It leaks water, blows hot air, and another unit switches off every two hours. 2) Water pressure is almost nonexistent and needs attention too. 3) The bed mattresses need replacing. 4) They need more staff, as they’re short on people.
