Premier Le Reve Hotel & Spa Sahl Hashesh -Adults Only

This was our third year in a row, and we’ll be back next year. The staff are the reason it earns five stars. From the gardeners and cleaners to the waiters and management, everyone is friendly and truly tries to make the holiday a good one. Hani in the lobby lounge and Ibrahim in the main restaurant remembered our drinks before we asked, and stayed cheerful at any time of day. The grounds and hotel are spotless, and the pools and beach have plenty of comfortable sunbeds. The rooms are a little tired but clean, spacious and well cared for by Muhammad, our housekeeper. Restaurants serve hot buffet food, with enough variety for everyone to find something they like.

We were so thrilled that we’re coming back in a month. It’s been my most beautiful vacation this year, with wonderful people and lovely evening performances in the Lounge. Mr. Khaled greeted us each day with a warm, kind, protective smile. The sous chef sorted out my meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner and satisfied all my cravings despite my gluten and lactose intolerance. I ate everything I wanted, including lactose-free pancakes and dessert. The food was the best, and I’ve travelled widely from Europe to Asia and America. Carlos was the nicest waiter and brought us anything we wanted at the pool. Morad and Omar from the Reception were wonderful too, as were the person who cleaned our room every day, Leyla, who gave me a facial massage, and the lady who washed and styled my hair. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. I don’t have enough words to thank them. Ten out of ten, congratulations!

We had plenty of very comfortable loungers around the large pool, and the big sun towels were changed daily. The waiter-served bars could mean a bit of a wait on a busy night, but the restaurants were well staffed, with drinks brought to us and a great selection of food. Rooms were cleaned daily and well arranged. There’s a private beach, with a pier over the coral so you can swim out into the Red Sea. Bring a snorkel mask, there are loads of fish to see. It was our first time at this fabulous hotel, and we met people who’d returned three or four times, which says a lot.

Food choice and service were good, including gluten-free options, and drinks came by waiter service with no tips needed. The rooms were good quality, and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. It’s a lovely, quiet adults-only hotel in the calmer part of the bay, a relaxing place to stay. New hotels were being built on both sides, though the work didn’t disturb us. The beach was nice, but coral lines the sea edge before you enter unless you go in through the lagoon.
