You really need a car here. We rented one, had no trouble parking, and could go wherever we wanted. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and it’s a quiet, lovely place where you feel at home. We had an unforgettable holiday, with a clean, warm pool just for the property. For the price, I’d recommend staying here. There were a few small things to keep in mind. Cleaning is by request rather than daily. The hot water comes from a boiler, so there’s enough for one person to wash properly, then you have to wait for it to heat again. We also had mosquitoes and bought repellent ourselves, which got rid of them.

The kitchen was short on utensils for making a meal. We had only one pasta bowl, which ended up being used for breakfast cereal. The pool heater was off for the last three days, so the water was too cold to use properly and we could only dip our feet. There were strong cannabis smells coming from room 11 during those last few days, though I’m not sure whether that’s a staff room. We booked directly with serenity home and had already stayed twice before. This time, over our 12 night booking, there was no bottled water or toilet tissue on arrival, and we had to ask for someone to bring tissue, but not water. We had to request housekeeping on day 5, and that was the only cleaning during our stay. There were no cleaning supplies for guests to use either. We were told a later checkout was fine, but when we left they asked us to pay extra for it, even though nobody was waiting for the room and most guests had already gone.

A lovely place for a family. The rooms were clean and the staff were great. The pool felt completely private, like we could enjoy it whenever we wanted, and there were no sunbed wars or towels left on beds. We’ll definitely be back.

The lagoon and beach are about a 15 minute drive away, and you get an access card to get in. Tony was accommodating and really helpful with every request. The place is beautiful, clean and peaceful, with a heated pool and a nice outdoor space. It feels like staying in your own private villa. I’d definitely recommend it.
