The Cascades Golf Resort Spa and Thalasso

The whole property was very well looked after, and the rooms were clean and hygienic. The food was high quality and felt safe to eat, though, as anywhere, you still need to be mindful of certain things. Every staff member, from the cooks to the service team, was warm, kind and helpful. They made us feel at home, and it was clear how much they cared. As a 20-year-old woman visiting with my parents, I felt safe and cared for the entire time. Cultural differences never caused any issues, and we felt welcome throughout. It was a lovely stay, and we’ll definitely be back soon. They deserve five stars. A big thank you to everyone, especially Abdullah and Hamza from the service team and the whole kitchen staff 🩷

The lunch box we requested for the team at checkout was disappointing, especially its quality and selection for what we paid. Still, I enjoy this place and am already looking forward to another visit to Soma Bay. This was my third time at Cascade, though my first visit was when it had its old name. The rooms and service are still excellent, and this time the food quality was noticeably better, showing what five-star hotel dining can be. Thanks to the food and beverage team.

I came here for a massage after hearing it was very relaxing. I’m staying at Sheraton, not at this hotel. I booked a 30-minute Vicky Shower massage, but the staff told me it was finished after only 20 minutes. I was very disappointed and hope the hotel will make sure staff keep their promises. I asked reception to bring the manager over and sort it out right away. They just said they’d email me if there was any progress. What a joke.

The tonic pool is the best massage and water jet pool I’ve ever experienced, even better than those I’ve tried in Budapest, Zurich or Geneva. The downside is that the massage rooms, including the bubble bath and underwater massage rooms, need maintenance and better hygiene.
