We had a frightening incident at 2 a.m. when some very aggressive men tried to get into our room. It took nearly an hour and my husband calling out “wrong room” several times before they moved away and continued shouting outside. Security knew about it but didn’t respond quickly enough. We reported the incident to management and hope they’ll handle anything similar faster in future. Elsewhere, the resort felt relaxed and cheerful, and staff were attentive and remembered us from day to day. Since it was off season, finding somewhere to relax wasn’t a problem, and the kids had plenty to do. There was a good range of food, with especially good Chinese and Indian options, plus other restaurants that need advance bookings. The surrounding area in Hurghada is full of construction as new resorts go up, so it feels a bit like a building site, but once you’re inside the resort it’s as it should be. Our second floor room had weak water pressure, though it was just enough for a hot shower after a long day in the sun. A ground floor room had much better pressure. We used one to freshen up and change into UK clothes before our taxi to the airport. Ask reception for a temporary room if that would be useful.

The hotel was lovely and easy to find your way around despite its size. Staff were accommodating and always keen to help, and we really enjoyed the stay. The room needed a few repairs that seemed only partly done. If you’re visiting in winter and book a poolside room, check that it’s by a heated pool. Some pools aren’t heated and felt like an ice bath. By the heated pool, staff helped us find a spot and a chair.

We’re already looking forward to coming back soon. The facilities made us so happy, and the rooms, food, service and everything else were among the best we’ve had on a holiday. There’s lots for both kids and adults to enjoy, and the animation team kept things cheerful and engaging. We also thought the food was delicious, varied and themed, with something for everyone. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, always smiling. We were very happy with our stay at Titanic Palace Hotel and highly recommend it.

Choosing the blue VIP wristband was worth it for us. The extra privileges and comfort made each day more enjoyable, and the difference in the experience was easy to feel. From the start, Titanic Palace felt elegant and well organised, with lovely surroundings, well-kept pools and a relaxing atmosphere. The service was high quality throughout, and the careful attention to detail left us with great memories. Khaled was a standout. His professionalism, kindness and genuine care made us feel welcome, and he was always willing to help. His positive energy and personal manner add a lot to the hotel, and people like him make you want to return.
