Champollion II Nile Cruise

We really enjoyed the cruise, especially the friendly, helpful team and the well-planned sightseeing schedule. The timing gave us a great chance to enjoy the cities, and there was entertainment every day. Meals had plenty of variety and tasted very good. The rooms were clean and a good size for a cruise. The bathroom is on the small side, but was fine for a three or four night stay. I'd definitely recommend it.

I had a great time on the trip from Luxor to Assouan, and would recommend the ship. The crew and captain were very kind, and the rooms were clean. The food was delicious, especially what chef KLife made. Some evenings the crew put on themed dance nights, too. There are two little shops onboard: a jewelry shop run by a very kind, honest man named Marco, and another selling clothes and souvenirs. I didn't get a chance to shop at the second one, so can't really review it.

The upper terrace was lovely, and the staff were friendly, but I had several moments where they showed very little focus on guests. Our booked double room wasn't available when we arrived, and they offered no fix at first. Only after we complained did they suggest pushing two beds together and covering them as one. They also tried to seat our family at two separate tables for every meal, and wanted us out of the rooms an hour before checkout. The windows are quite small, and the food was just average.

The guides made the trip especially enjoyable, sharing their deep knowledge in a really interesting way. Everything was so well organized, and the cruise was clean. I also loved the sailing time itself. Thanks to the whole team for all the effort they put into making it such a good experience. I'd love to come back and spend more time there. It won't be my last visit.
