Sofia guest house was a lovely, quiet place away from the city. The owner was really friendly and nice. They let us check in late and store our luggage on the day we checked out.

The owner welcomed us warmly when we arrived around 10 pm, and we liked the room. We stayed just one night. The AC was a little loud, but otherwise everything was fine. Thanks. Unfortunately, Uber was the real problem. For the ride from Luxor temple, they asked for more than it should cost. Watch out for possible scams.

After staying in eight hotels in Egypt, this one is easily my favorite. The owner was welcoming and polite, and the pool was nice. It's only about six minutes by car from the train station or Luxor temple. The room was big and clean, and the price was good value. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, nice place on the East Bank.

The owner-host family made us feel very welcome, and the guest house is on a quiet street with lovely surroundings. Everything was spacious and clean. The pool was beautiful and refreshing, and stayed cool even in the sun. My room was huge, with good furniture and plenty of space. The bed was large and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the spacious bathroom and strong water pressure. Great value for money. I'd absolutely come back.
