We left Karima guest house very impressed. The hosts were warm and smiling, and the house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our week-long stay. They helped with transport and visits to attractions, and served delicious traditional food along with European dishes to suit our preferences. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We'll come back!

As two female friends, we felt completely at home here. The staff were respectful, and Ali was like a trustworthy big brother, helping us with everything. The taxi he arranged made it easy to explore Luxor and the surrounding cities. Don't be put off by the distance from town, the place felt extremely safe and peaceful.

The quiet and dark at night were wonderful after Cairo, and I loved looking up at the stars. It felt very romantic. Sunset was beautiful even in winter, and as a solo female traveller I was kept well fed and entertained by the very friendly owners. The homely feel and warm hospitality meant a lot to me. I came here to recharge, and the peace was just what I needed. You're only a short walk from sand dunes and horse riding, and the Valley of the Kings is right nearby. From the roof, I could sit for hours looking at the ancient site, which seemed so close, especially at night. If you're being picked up for a hot air balloon ride, the location means you can sleep in a bit longer. It's not in the center, and I didn't see any nearby restaurants apart from the hotel's own. One night I was exhausted and miscalculated what I owed for food. The owner could have taken the extra cash, but instead checked the food price again. That honesty says a lot. I can see why it gets such high ratings after staying here myself.

It felt like a real oasis in Luxor, with stunning views all around. After days exploring temples and tombs, I could think of no better place to relax. Peaceful and restful, like a little patch of heaven. I could have stayed forever.
