Akassia Swiss Resort

As my first experience in Egypt, the week was a wonderful one. The rooms were clean, the facilities were good, and the whole place felt relaxing. From the warm welcome onward, the staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. I’d happily recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely week.

The kids had plenty to do with all the pools and slides, and we could head straight to the beach. The house reef was beautiful for snorkeling, though the waves sometimes got a bit rough. Our family room was spacious and comfortable, with decent beds and good showers, and the staff were friendly. There was a huge buffet choice at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hosni, the relations manager, was especially attentive, and we really appreciated the free late checkout. A few small downsides: the New Year’s Eve entertainment disappointed us a little, fresh juice cost extra, and some activities, like diving, felt overpriced.

There was plenty going on during the day, with organized activities and events, and options like billiards and tennis. The reef is amazing, and the food is varied. By regional standards, the hotel itself is okay. What really affected our stay was how persistent some of the sellers working at the hotel were. They kept ignoring us when we said no, even after we repeated it several times. It became stressful enough that we avoided certain areas so my girlfriend wouldn’t run into employees who were harassing her. Not everyone behaved that way, but there were enough of them to spoil the mood when we wanted to rest. Hotel management should address this and set standards to prevent the constant harassment.

The care we received extended even to a situation where we needed help with the food, and the hotel was attentive to what we needed. Mr. Wael, the Operation Manager, was professional, kind, and helpful from the start. He greeted us with a smile and was always ready to assist. Even with extra favors, he went out of his way to make things happen and made our stay feel special and comfortable. Everything was handled with care, and checkout was smooth, leaving us with a great last impression. Thanks to Mr. Wael for his dedication and to the whole Akassia Swiss team for a beautiful experience. We’ll definitely visit again.
