Aurora Queen Resort Marsa Alam

The rooms are huge, and the hotel is clean. Great animation team, and the bartenders and restaurant staff were really friendly.

The entertainment team was easily our favorite part of the stay. They did a great job with zumba, water aerobics, and the nightly shows, and there were enough activities to keep us busy while still letting us relax. The pools were nice, and the view from the food hall across the three pools and palm trees was pretty. Aurora offered good value for the money. Facilities are outdated, and the food was pretty good but not always cooked or seasoned quite right. Desserts could be better. I also thought from the pictures that the resort was on the ocean, but it’s across the street and a bit of a walk, though it’s nice to have access to the water. Communication with staff was sometimes difficult because they didn’t speak fluent English or enough to communicate easily, but the front desk person was usually helpful. The rooms could use an update, and having more women on staff would improve the resort, since only men work there.

The beach is beautiful and the animation is okay. The hotel is good but needs some maintenance. Food is decent, though it needs more alternatives. They took very good care of the clothes in the room.
