Dream Lagoon Beach Resort & Aqua Park

We especially enjoyed the Gardenia restaurant, where the food was tastier than at the other one. The cheerful, kind Hasan and the quiet, attentive, polite and professional Muhamed were standouts among the waiters. We visited in January and had a really good time. It's a very good hotel, with a large green area, beautiful sea and turtles close by, and nice people. Everything was excellent, and we plan to return.

WARNING: BED BUGS! A holiday nightmare! In January 2026, we stayed in sea-view room 5227. It became a nightmare and a fight for our health. The second night, we were bitten by bed bugs and found one beneath the pillow. The manager and tour representative kept insisting it was mosquitoes and acted as if they didn't know what was happening. They offered to move us, but with bed bugs the whole building should be closed and professionally treated, not covered up. I had a severe allergic reaction and spent two days in a clinic, receiving antihistamine injections and medical treatment. The doctor said no sun, no swimming, and limited activity. Our holiday in Egypt was effectively over. The hotel standard deserves minus one star. It should be closed, not sold to customers. The mattresses were 20 years old and stained, the blankets smelled, and the bedding was disgusting, so we slept on towels. Furniture was broken and falling apart. The bathroom was old and ruined, with fungus, mold, loose tiles and paint splashed everywhere. The food was a disaster. This hotel should be shut down.

The garden was the best part for me: beautifully kept, lush with greenery and bright flowers, and clearly cared for with real dedication. Walking among the palms was lovely, and the evening lights made it feel dreamy. Mohammed Al-Tayeb deserves special mention. He was a smiling, polite and attentive waiter who brought a genuinely welcoming feel to every meal. The hotel is officially five stars, though to me it felt closer to a solid three. That didn't affect our stay, which was fantastic. The atmosphere, staff and surroundings more than made up for the small details. It has its own soul, excellent service and a garden that could rival those at top luxury resorts. I recommend it to anyone seeking peace, nature and warm hospitality.

Everything felt top-notch during our stay. The place is huge, well maintained and beautiful, with a clean, well-kept garden. The rooms were clean, the food excellent and the service wonderful. I especially want to praise Mohammed Al-Tayeb, our best waiter ever. He's kind, funny, caring, hardworking and always ready to help. I'd give the whole visit 10/10 and definitely recommend it.
