Marsa Nakari Village

The resort itself is beautiful, clean and relaxing, and the food tastes really nice. Service was very good too. The diving center is extremely well organized, comfortable and attractive, with great gear and a great vibe. Diving costs are on the high side but still reasonable compared with my experience elsewhere, although lots of small extras such as a computer and buoy cost extra. The house reef is unfortunately about 90% dead after a big flood two years ago and because of climate change. They say it's recovering, but it looks post-apocalyptic. That's very sad, and clearly not their fault, though it makes the high stay price harder to accept. From what we saw, the northern Red Sea has much better reefs, around Port Ghalib and farther north. I don't think 140 euro for a tent for two people, with prices charged per person, is justifiable when the toilet is communal and there's no airco. We didn't need airco in October, but the value for money still felt very low. It also seems arbitrary that coke zero costs extra on full board while regular sugary coke is included, especially after paying 140 euro for a tent. I wouldn't return. I'd rather spend a little less per night at a nicer resort up north, negotiate diving prices with more diving centers, and have a toilet in my room.
