This is a relaxing place to stay, with a chalet beside the beach and swimming pool. The downside is that they let people from outside use the area, and some of them can be noisy.

What an awful apartment. It was dirty and smelled like a doghouse. When we arrived there was no water in the toilet, and the kitchen water was brown. I’ve never seen an apartment this bad in my life. Be careful about booking it, and look at the photos.

It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, but getting around without a car is really difficult. The only transport available is the “taftaf,” and its service doesn’t start until 8pm, which is much too late to begin your day.

A lovely villa within the city.

It’s quiet and calm, with gates, security staff, and a very safe feel. There are beach buggies and bike rentals on site. It’s clean and less crowded than downtown Matrouh. Getting around is easier with a car, though there’s an arrangement with some taxi drivers, so ask the main office for details.
