JAZ Elite Crystal, Almaza Bay

The beach was the highlight, with clear turquoise water and soft white sand that felt like paradise. The pool area was relaxing too, with plenty of sunbeds and a pleasant atmosphere. Jaz Elite Crystal has beautiful surroundings, and I had a wonderful stay, with a great mix of comfort and service. My room was spacious, modern and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. Housekeeping did a great job every day. The staff were friendly and professional, always smiling and ready to help. The restaurant had a wide selection of fresh, tasty, nicely presented dishes, from Egyptian specialties to international food. I highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday, whether you're a couple, a family or simply someone who likes great service and scenery. I'd love to return.

The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and every person we met made us feel welcome. Doha Mohammed, the Guest Relations Manager, deserves a heartfelt thank you for her warm, attentive care. Ahmed also made breakfast on the terrace a lovely experience each morning with his friendly service. We loved the beach, especially the clear water and soft sand. The hotel grounds were kept beautiful and clean, so every walk was a pleasure. We can't wait for our next visit and will definitely be back.

The sea and food were the highlights for me, and I’d still recommend the hotel. I spent seven nights at Jaz Crystal Elite in October, outside peak season. It’s compact, so getting between the room, restaurant, and beach is easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed. The food was delicious and varied, staff were usually polite and helpful, the Wi-Fi was unexpectedly strong, and I liked being able to book the spa. A few things took away from the stay. The sunbeds and umbrellas sit well back from the water because the front is kept for private lounges at €80 a day. That choice seems to sacrifice the sea view for most guests for only a small gain. The terrace restaurant was short staffed, with just three waiters covering all the tables, so drinks often didn’t arrive at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Two porters carried our small bags and both expected baksheesh, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Entertainment was the weakest part. Some evenings it didn’t start until 21:45, and it wasn’t on every day. The animation team spoke only Italian, leaving many international guests out. Even aquagym was hard to follow because they used a tiny phone speaker you could barely hear, while the neighboring hotel had music loud enough to hear from hundreds of meters away, with 100 people joining in daily. With a few management changes, this could be one of the best places in the region.

The food was really good, and the staff were attentive, though their English was limited. It’s a little out of the way, but the location right on the beach is fantastic. What a nice place.
