Nirvana Wellness Huts-White Bay

My room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 4 pm, and it took another 30 minutes to prepare. Even then, it was dirty and full of sand. I’d asked for a king bed, but they pushed two single beds together and called that a king. The place is far away and feels very primitive, without even the basic standards of a proper hotel, wellness place or beach resort. The beach was hard to enjoy too. It’s always windy, the sea is rough, and swimming or relaxing on the sand wasn’t really possible. The bathrooms smelled bad, which wasn’t surprising given the poor design. WiFi was weak and didn’t work throughout the place. I’d say it’s suited to teenagers and people who enjoy adventurous, remote spots. It’s definitely not for families or mature couples.

It’s an amazing mix of luxury and adventurous cabin life. The hospitality team is welcoming and professional, with warm handshakes that make you feel at home. Everything here is beyond amazing, so it deserves a spot on your bucket list if you haven’t visited. My ratings: cleanliness 10/0, food 9/10, location 10/10, price 9/10. I’d recommend it 100%!

I couldn’t sleep properly because our hut’s lock didn’t work. When we told the staff, they said they already knew and assured us it was safe, but that didn’t make me feel secure. The hut was small and felt crowded, and the toilet smelled bad; the toilet and sheets also needed better cleaning. There’s just one restaurant, and the place feels quite isolated. On the plus side, it’s only 20 huts, so it never felt busy, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hut is so close to the nice beach that you can hear and see the waves from bed. There’s potential here, but it needs improvements.

The waves and the ambient lights make the evenings here feel amazing, and the staff are friendly too. Such a relaxing beach experience on the North Coast, probably my favorite.
