I’ve never had this kind of aggressive treatment in a hotel before. The night shift at the front desk was especially unfriendly when I asked for a room with a better phone signal, after poor coverage affected me on the first night. The receptionist wouldn’t even try to accommodate me or help, gave me angry looks, and made me feel as if he might pick a fight. I was only asking for what felt like a basic right.

A relaxing atmosphere, clean rooms, and well-maintained facilities made this a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy a vacation. The staff were professional and friendly, and the service was excellent.

The beach and sea had broken glass in them, which felt dangerous, and there was nothing nearby except rubbish and mess. The hotel may be listed as five-star, but it felt closer to three. There was no animation, activities or fun program, so it’s not a place for an active holiday. The all-inclusive offer was poor: repetitive, low-quality food that was often inedible, watered-down juice, coffee for $2 and just one bottle of water per person each day. Extra water cost $1, so the package barely felt all-inclusive. In the room, the air conditioning smelled bad and towels were only changed if I asked. Comfort was low, and the staff weren’t especially friendly or helpful. Having to pay for basic water says a lot. I can’t recommend it, and would pay extra for a better hotel.

The bathroom tap water was yellow, almost like it had mud mixed in. The hotel is also out of the way, with no amenities nearby, so getting a meal means a 30-minute taxi ride to the city center. I strongly recommend that Asian guests avoid booking here. I experienced serious racial discrimination: white guests were assigned to one building and Asian guests to another with a much worse view. Staff made things difficult and treated us with coldness and indifference throughout the stay. This place does not deserve its four-star rating.
