The spot is full of coral reefs, so it’s ideal for snorkeling and diving. The host was very accommodating, and the shared bathrooms and showers were very clean. Amazing experience, highly recommended!

We came back to maagana for some quiet time away from cairo after six years of not being able to visit Egypt. I’d been here several times between 2015 and 2017, and it still feels like HEAVEN. The people are awesome and we truly enjoyed our time. If you like quiet, authentic, non commercial camps and the beautiful desert of sinai, this is the place. Don’t expect AC. There’s a desert cooler in the bungalows, and it does the job, but this is more of a desert way of life.

Nice food, friendly staff, and a fair, reasonable price. It’s a great spot for relaxing and snorkeling. The toilets and bathroom could use a better cleaning, though.

I make it here at least once a year, and it feels like a fresh start for my soul. It’s one of the most amazing spots in Sini and one of my favorites, even though there’s plenty that could be improved. Somehow, you still fall in love with the place.
