Matarma Bay Hotel

The rooms were amazing, with beach views, and we had a great time. The kids had so much fun. Breakfast is basic, but the food we ordered from the restaurant was delicious 🤍. It would be safer to have a lifeguard on the beach. Apart from that, everything was super good.

The room view was beautiful, and the place was really peaceful with a great location. I'd rate it 7 out of 10. The rooms could have been cleaner, there was no room service, and most of the phones didn't work. I had to walk to the restaurant or reception whenever I needed anything.

I loved the relaxed vibe, the music, and the crowd. It felt cozy and well designed, with a great dining area and an exceptional view. The beach and water were amazing, and the staff were super nice. It's about two and a half hours from Cairo at most, so you can get a Red Sea experience. Bring sea shoes, though. The rooms were okay, but the standard ones are tiny. The AC was good, the mattresses were comfy, and the bathrooms were clean. We had two problems: one mattress wasn't clean, and another issue was with the bathtub drainer. Housekeeping didn't seem very experienced, but management responded quickly, fixed things, moved us to a deluxe room, and gave us a late checkout as compensation. They really wanted us to have a good experience. The menu needs more choices, and so does the breakfast buffet. It was my first time in Ras Sedr, and I loved it. I'm definitely planning to go again. The place is super chill, but not boring.

So much serenity here, a great escape from the city's fast pace 😍. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are amazing with panoramic sea views 😍. One tip, wear sea shoes. Retsa is all over the sea, and it's really painful 🫠😵‍💫
