Dehiba Resort

The room was clean and spacious, and the resort has a striking desert style with a lovely view over the salt lake. Mr Ahmed at reception was especially helpful and friendly, and the rest of the staff were polite too. Breakfast could use more variety, and the resort is quite far from the downtown markets. Even so, I’d recommend it. It’s one of the best hotels in Siwa for a mix of nature and comfortable rooms.

Waking up to the lake and sunrise was so relaxing, and I was lucky enough to see flamingos there every morning. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My room had a fan and a minibar.

We had a lovely stay for the price. The hotel could use some care, though, and has seen better days. Our rooms were spacious and generally clean. My bathroom was nice and everything worked, but the shower in the room next door, where our kids stayed, didn’t work. Breakfast was basic, and the staff were ready to help when they could. We didn’t use the pool because it was quite cold, but it was clean. In the evening, the outdoor fire pit was a lovely place to sit. The hotel is right by the lake, so the sunrise was amazing. It’s a bit far from town, but if you let the hotel know, they can arrange dinner there or help with transport into town.

I felt really comfortable here. The place was very clean, the lake view was perfect, and the staff were so friendly they felt like family. I loved it and would book here every time.
