Wishwashi Camp & Resort

We snorkeled over the beautiful reef, hung out on the beach, and even slept outside there. It's a relaxed place to do nothing, with friendly staff. The setting is a little strange: this is a quiet paradise that's still well visited, in an area with some troubles and many abandoned construction sites around. Best to stay within the camp.

We stayed four nights and didn't want to leave. Ahmed was so kind to us and the kids, and Husam is a wonderful host. There's a nice snorkeling spot nearby. I highly recommend this place!

I've never had a host as warm and helpful as Hussam. He personally looks after every guest, and he spent at least five hours sitting with us and helping with everything, from SIM cards and travel to food and cabs. He and his staff always greet you with a smile and help with whatever you need. It's a lovely place to stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The reef just in front of camp is lovely, and there's an easy entry point 200 meters to the south. We spent four nights here and had a great time. It's a quiet, simple place in Ras Sheitan, with delightful service and good food. Hossam, the owner, is extremely hospitable and helpful. The rooms are basic; some have air conditioning and a private bathroom, and there are huts (Husha) too.
