Pazo da Touza

The beds were great, the shower was good, and the location is beautiful. But the service needs work, and I think the issues should have been handled better. I stayed three nights and thought I might be the only guest until someone in the room next to mine used the shower during siesta. The noise was extraordinarily loud. I told the cleaner, who just said, "yes, that is the shower," and did nothing. I was then woken brutally again in the night and early morning. Luckily that guest checked out, so I was alone again, which I checked. When I brought it up at checkout, nothing was done. Breakfast was another surprise. I had emailed before booking to ask whether it was included and got no reply. At check-in on the first night they asked when I wanted breakfast, as though I had already decided to have it. That continued on the other days. It was very limited and not worth the EUR10 charge. Mentioning that didn't lead to anything either. Reception was mostly absent during my stay, which was fine by me, but when someone was there, the atmosphere was unpleasant. I've never left a negative review before, and I'm willing to take this one down. I emailed and received no answer, though I can see responses posted here, so I'm giving this a try.
