The staff were genuinely friendly, and breakfast was decent, though it got repetitive. The beach itself is fantastic, but the hotel isn’t right on the sand like I’d assumed from the description. Getting there means taking a very steep path over a busy road. Our older, unrenovated room was dated but perfectly usable. My daughter’s room faced a noisy go-kart park, so ask for a quieter room when booking. The main road is busy, but the location still worked well for us.

We loved the sea and island views, especially at sunset. The rooms were spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and having a refrigerator was handy. The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Thanks, Sergio and Natalia. Hotel Mar Azul was a great choice.

The coffee was really tasty, and breakfast was very good for such an affordable price. From our fourth-floor balcony, we could watch dolphins playing in the ocean. The place felt cozy, and the staff were very welcoming.
