The sleeping room was really bright whenever anyone got up because the motion lights kept turning on. There were so many of them. The albergue itself was clean, spacious, and lovely, though the kitchen was short on basics, like knives and a cutting board.

I’ve never come across a hostel with this many services at such a good standard. Excellent in every way. Pilgrims, don’t hesitate.

After the 15 kilometre walk from Mondonedo over the mountain tops, this was a great place to stop. The renovated albergue is set up with comfort in mind, and it was very, very clean. There’s a restaurant and bar connected through an inside doorway. The young woman at reception was a delight.

After walking around 8 Caminos, I’d put this among the best albergues I’ve stayed in. The hospeleteria was very friendly, and when I arrived having booked the wrong day, changing it was no problem. Muchísimas gracias!

Less than 35 euros gets you a lot here: comfortable, if small, rooms, working Wi-Fi, and a bar cafe downstairs. It’s right on the Camino. Great value, great value.
