I loved the hotel itself, but I wouldn't return or recommend it because of the manager and owner. He knocked a drink onto someone in our party, did nothing to help clean it up, then came back and slammed a replacement drink down in front of her as if it were her fault. It was the wildest moment of an already unwelcoming stay. The staff seemed to follow his lead, and every request felt like too much trouble, as if we weren't wanted. The bar was closed whenever we got back, despite there being no guests there all day, and the front door was shut during the day too. The hotel was beautiful, the location amazing, the food good and fairly priced, and the rooms comfortable. No idea why this man works in hospitality.

We LOVED our stay. The breakfasts were amazing, the meals were so good, and the service was great. You can tell they pay attention to the details. It's in a quiet village, a little out of the way, and a good place to stay if you want to taste wine.

We liked the food and accommodation, and the hotel is lovely and well located. Still, the host spoiled the stay for us. We felt like an inconvenience the whole time. After our hiking days, we'd come back to find the front door shut and the bar closed. Even a smile seemed like too much effort.

The food, at both breakfast and dinner, was fantastic and good value. The rooms were functional but very clean and comfortable, with nice quality products. The owner and family were keen to help whenever they could, and I'd like to thank them and all the staff for their hospitality. You were wonderful. It's a fantastic rural location, though I'd say having a car is best, which is why I gave it a 4.

The owner was attentive and gave us lots of useful tips about the village. We also loved the amazing breakfast, they really outdid themselves. The little hotel is beautiful and right in the heart of a lovely town. Our room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable.
