There’s lots to explore nearby, with trails through the Irati Forest and some great hidden spots, and the house itself is spacious. The owner was lovely, both when welcoming us and with her updates each day. My lower rating is about how the house was managed. The coffee maker had old, dirty grounds in it, the traditional Italian coffee makers were rusty inside, and the dish soap was mostly water. The checkout chores also felt unusual compared with other places: we had to strip the beds, fold the blankets, and take out all four recycling bins. We’re happy to be considerate, but shouldn’t have been required to take the bins away and recycle them ourselves. Otherwise, things were fine. The living room was roomy, the dishes were clean, the TV was large and in good shape, the heating was comfortable, and firewood was supplied.

We spent 10 days here as three families and had a wonderful time. Having a bathroom in every bedroom made things so convenient for our large group, and the house was comfortable, roomy, and had everything we needed. The village is lovely and well placed for visiting the Irati Forest, nearby villages, and the wider area, all within about an hour's drive. There’s still plenty we haven't seen, so the possibilities really do feel endless. We hope to come back. Thank you, Edurne and Mikel!

The hosts were attentive, and everything before arrival was handled really well. Communication was excellent, the details about the area were thorough, and the whole process felt easy. Inside, the living and dining space is big enough for a group to gather without any trouble. The rooms are well equipped and nicely set up, and there’s a lovely little barbecue corner by the entrance. A very comfortable, enjoyable place for a weekend with friends.

We came back to Casa Enekoizar this year and again found it very well equipped, with excellent bedrooms, a living room, and kitchen. The owners were so helpful and attentive. It’s in a quiet village, close to all the places you might want to visit. I’d recommend this house wholeheartedly.
