El Rincón de Abizanda

The owners were really friendly and ready to help with any questions or requests. The house itself is lovely and spacious, with everything you need for a few days in a beautiful setting.

We spent three days here with friends for a birthday, and the big terrace was a highlight. It has a large table, fridge, foosball, ping-pong, and chairs, with a view over the green valley. You can have breakfast out there and take in the scenery. Getting to the place takes a bit of care: search by the rural house's name, not by street address. There's also a shortcut down steps to the village, about a two-minute walk away. The bar there serves food and keeps relaxed hours. The house is peaceful and family-friendly, in a small, well-kept village with its own character, including a well-preserved tower and church. Inside, the thick stone walls and layout make it comfortable. The large living and dining room has an open kitchen, a good TV we never used, and a table that seats about 20, with plenty of dishes. There are two bedrooms and a shower bathroom on that floor, plus more bedrooms and another bathroom upstairs. Everything was well equipped. We couldn't find the air conditioning remote, but managed to switch it on using the button. It was very hot outside, though the house stayed comfortable. There are forests and reservoirs all around for nature outings, but finding a good place to get down to the reservoir takes some care. It's huge, stretching across several towns and even going by different names. For a town visit, Aínsa is 20 minutes away, along with some other well-known places. Aínsa is nice for a long walk, though it has more tourists and souvenir shops than it did a few years ago. The owners let us arrive a little early once they'd finished cleaning after the previous guests, and we had everything we needed. It's a calm place that would work well for a week with family, children, or friends. We'll definitely visit again.

The house, hosts, and surroundings made for a dream weekend. We loved Huesca and the lovely atmosphere there, and only wished we could have stayed longer. We'll be back for sure.

We had such a magical, cozy weekend in this beautiful rural house. It was very, very clean and had all the amenities. The owners were attentive the whole time, and I'd give the place a 10. Thank you for everything. We'll definitely return.
