Apartment in Yucca park

There are private entrances and pools, and the apartment is in a great spot near the beachfront, shops and restaurants.

Our private apartment was lovely, spotless and in a good location. We didn't use the pool, and the sunbeds there could do with an update. We also stayed away from the pool bar after one of the staff was rude to my friend when she tried to ask him something. An older man asking for a drink was treated the same way, because the bar was closed for a private party. We wouldn't go back there, but we'd definitely book the apartment again.

I didn't stay in the complex, but I went to the Scotsman bar a few times. It's open to the public, and the guys there made us feel welcome and at home. The complex itself looked clean and tidy. Head down and give it a try.

The resort itself is immaculate, with daily maintenance, a clean pool and plenty of sunbeds. There are also pool-table and bar facilities. The Scotsman bar was friendly and reasonably priced, and it felt private. Toilets are available on site. Our two-bedroom apartment had one bathroom and a good-sized room setup. It came with all the essentials, including a hairdryer, iron, washing machine, drying racks and extra towels. It faced the main road, which was mostly quiet, and the main balcony had a lovely sea view. The smaller balcony looked towards the mountains and sunrise. Some of the soft furnishings felt old, and the bedding, throws and cushions made the place feel less cosy than it could have. A little care and some new furnishings would make a difference. Still, it felt safe and looked pleasant from the outside. We'd come back for the value and location. We stayed from 23rd April to 2nd May 24. The resort is in a perfect spot, five minutes on foot from amenities and the beach. There's a local supermarket and taxi rank nearby. Parking is out front if you get lucky and find a space.
