We thought this was a good hotel, but it didn’t quite feel like the luxury stay we expected, especially compared with Bahia in Fuerteventura. The newly refurbished rooms and shared spaces looked fresh, clean, and in good working order. Staff were attentive in general, particularly at reception, in housekeeping, and in the restaurant. At the Teide bar, though, terrace coffee service was slow on several occasions. We enjoyed the Club’s private pool and Bali beds, and parking our rental car at the hotel cost €3 a day. The Club lounge food could use work, the sandwiches were uninspiring. The tennis court had been refurbished but had no net during our stay, and the nine-hole mini-golf behind the Club needs some attention too. Gofio was easily our best meal, though the food overall was good and the selection didn’t change much over our two weeks. The extra £500 per person per week for Club benefits felt too high. Most Club rooms face west, so their balconies only get sun late in the day. Room 14304 is the one Club room with a terrace in the sun from around midday. We also missed having a spa, with things like hot tubs, saunas, or massage facilities. Some may be available at the sister Costa Adeje hotel nearby, but that hotel was being refurbished during our visit, with completion expected in December 2026. We had to seek out information about fitness classes and entertainment ourselves. It would have been useful to have it on the room TV menu. The minibar wasn’t reliably replenished either, and on one day there was just one teabag for two people. We also expected turndown service in a Club room. Construction at the Costa Adeje hotel brought jackhammer noise and beeping vehicles, and one day there was an all-day rave at the adjacent travellers’ site. We hired a car and explored Tenerife, which felt much busier than Lanzarote or Fuerteventura. Finding public parking in towns and in the mountains, including Teide National Park, was difficult. Costa Adeje also felt generally overcrowded when we walked around. Our stay was good, but we’d rate it 7/10 rather than luxury.

The staff made us feel welcome throughout, and the food was excellent. Even on our short visit, we loved the whole experience. Everything we saw, from the buffet area and gym to the rooms and other facilities, was spotless and beautifully designed after the recent renovation. I’d gladly recommend the resort and come back.

The food was good, the amenities were great, and we enjoyed a genuinely nice three-night, three-and-a-half-day break. Guests were friendly, and most staff were relatively friendly too, especially the women. Still, after talking with other guests, we felt half-board visitors like us were treated differently from all-inclusive guests. We won’t be hurrying back to this hotel. We chose half board because my wife is pregnant and we don’t usually eat three meals a day, so all-inclusive didn’t suit this trip. We weren’t given free drinking water, apart from a 500 ml bottle placed in the fridge after two days. The shop’s prices were steep, €24.99 for sun cream. During dinner, waiters interrupted us to scan our wristbands. Room charges for purchases also involved a very slow process with another wristband scan. The layout seemed odd, with the route to the toilets going through the restaurant seating and no toilets or showers near the pool. We asked the same staff member for a two-hour late checkout and were told it would cost €20, with no option to waive the fee. Later, we watched the woman in front of us receive those exact two extra hours for free after asking that same staff member.

We’re on a last-minute six-night break at Baha Principe and having a wonderful time. The rooms have been renovated recently, and the whole place is so clean. The food is the best we’ve had on an all-inclusive holiday. Antonio & Mirela have been the standouts among the staff and have made the trip extra lovely. Thank you!

The pool area looks stunning, and the Bali beds are really comfortable. We’ve had a lovely five days and would definitely come back. The resort is beautiful after its refurbishment, and the entertainment team were great. Most of the staff were great too, although getting drinks with meals was hit and miss. It felt as if there weren’t enough staff, even though the hotel was still fairly quiet. When I booked, the listing said there were four restaurants, with two à la carte options included only for stays of a week. In reality, there are three restaurants altogether, including those two à la carte places, so we had the same buffet restaurant for our entire week. The food was good quality and I have no complaints about it, but it would have been nice to get one reservation since we stayed for more than half a week.
