Hotel Best Jacaranda

We had a wonderful stay and only wished it could have lasted longer. The hotel is lovely and well maintained, and our room was a decent size. We got upgraded to a larger one, which was lovely, though the decor is a little dated. For the price, that's not much to complain about. We were self-catering so we could try Adeje's restaurants, and can't say much about the hotel food. There are several pools, but only one was heated. With so many children around, a few more heated pools would have been helpful. It was hard to get a sunbed by the heated pool, making it more difficult to keep an eye on our children.

The hotel has pretty pools and a nice waterfall, the rooms are a good size, and the facilities are quite nice. Evening entertainment was okay, though it could have lasted longer. Even so, I regret booking it. We stayed six nights at the beginning of February, and this didn't feel like a 4-star hotel to us, perhaps a mid-3-star at best. Check-in staff were rude and not very helpful. Our room felt miles from reception because the hotel is huge and the lifts were horrendous. We booked all-inclusive, but after three nights we insisted on changing to room-only. The food was only fit for K9 consumption, and the drinks seemed watered down. Only house drinks were included, water cost 60 cents, and it wasn't replenished in the room. The building needs serious care. Bathroom tiles were peeling, doors were rotted, and the poolside decking was uneven and loose, making it dangerous. There was a cockroach nest in the decking, and the ceiling above the pool bar was covered in damp and mould. This used to be one of the best places in south Tenerife, so please maintain the building. Seeing it in that state was very disappointing.

She was kind, professional and helpful throughout our stay, always greeting us with a smile, showing lots of patience and offering useful recommendations whenever we needed help. Her care made the trip even more enjoyable. We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Best Jacaranda. It's just as described and well located, close to everything you'd need on holiday. The food was plentiful and very good, with plenty of variety each day. We also appreciated the pools, especially the warm-water one for children, which was perfect for our little one. Thanks to ANA and the Best Jacaranda team. We highly recommend the hotel.

This was our family's first trip abroad, and everything worked out perfectly. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk down to the beach, and the staff went above and beyond to help. Our rooms were spotless whenever they were cleaned each day. We paid extra to include food and drinks with the room, and were glad we did. It had been a while since I'd enjoyed an alcoholic drink while watching the shows in the performance rooms. The hotel food was amazing, with loads to choose from at breakfast, lunch and dinner: waffles, pancakes, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juice, meats, cheese, chips, chicken and sausages, among plenty of other things. They also had curry, Asian and Italian nights. I'd rate the hotel as highly as I can, and we'll definitely go again. I've attached some pictures below 🙂
