I was nervous after reading the bad reviews, but I was happy with the hotel for what I paid. Tenerife is a volcano, so of course it’s hilly. Breakfast was good every day. We had dinner once since we booked bed and breakfast, and it was really nice, with ribs, a good choice of meat, vegetables, and carbs. I REALLY RECOMMEND THE MANDARIN CHINESE BUFFET if you only have breakfast like me, the food is amazing and so CHEAP. My room, N7, was clean and fine, with a clean bed, fresh towels, and a nice view. There was a bit of mold, but no cockroach in my room. My mom’s room, N21, had a nest in her wardrobe. I told reception, though I don’t know if they did anything. Cleaners come every two days, not daily, and don’t speak English. The pool isn’t heated, but it’s nice in hot weather. Cocktails are strong, so be careful. They cost €5 each, and you also have to pay for ice in a cup if you bring your own drinks 🤣🤣🤣. For 400 quid, nothing wrong with it. It’s not a bad hotel, so don’t be scared like I was, and there were no bed bugs! The chicken man is very funny 😅🤣. Might come back ❤️❤️. Enjoy your holiday.

Travelling with little ones, I loved the convenience of having meals at the resort. It’s a great family spot, very close to the beach. I hadn’t realised before booking that the rooms don’t have internet, but it was nice to spend less time on our devices and talk more.

I don’t want to repeat my stay at Laguna Park Resort. The resort fell short on basic hospitality and respect for guests. We had to ask for the dirty bedsheets to be changed when we arrived. There was no ventilation in the stuffy room, and the safe was broken. Our room was beside the loading area and laundry room, so there was extreme noise very early in the morning. We tried to move rooms but were told that wasn’t possible. Breakfast was miserable, with little choice and quality far below what I’d expect from a resort. They didn’t provide shower gel, kitchen cloths, or dish soap in the apartments. There was no TV remote, and Wi-Fi only worked in reception, not in the rooms. We also had to wear an ugly, uncomfortable orange wristband throughout the stay.

The pool was really clean, and I saw it being cleaned every day, around it and at the bottom. I didn’t see any cockroaches, and I was happy overall. The staff were friendly, housekeeping came every other day, and the entertainment was great. Chicken man had a good sense of humour and was funny. Our room was a bit old-fashioned, but it did what we needed. I’ve seen some of the more modern rooms, and I think they’re slowly updating them all. The food was okay and good value for money, with plenty of drinks.
