Garden City Premium Full Seaview Apartments

The sunbeds were the only problem. It's a shame management lets people claim them with towels first thing in the morning. The pool can be empty, yet every lounger is taken. Terrible.

The pool was lovely and comfortably warm, and the apartment, location, and service were all very good. The complex is beautifully laid out, the grounds are cared for, and everything we needed was nearby. But the sunbed situation made it impossible for me to enjoy the pool I had paid to use. Signs say reserving beds isn't allowed, yet nobody enforces the rule. People queue from 8 to 8:30am, and by 9 every bed is gone. All week, an elderly couple got up at the crack of dawn and sat right beside the baby area, leaving families with children without a safe place to watch them. One day I carried a lounger through the crowd to the other end and squeezed in so I could keep an eye on my little one. Three nearby beds had towels on them all day, though their owners didn't return until 5:30pm, when they took the towels and went for a swim. It felt selfish, and no one was managing it. I found a space on only two of our seven days, so I won't return. That's a shame, because everything else was perfect.

I've stayed here for years without an issue, but this year we had trouble with the maids and the bed and towel changes. I called reception to raise it and got a hostile response. They simply said we hadn't been missed, and the problem was never put right. There was no point complaining. I'm very dissatisfied with the attitude and the response overall.

The location made day-to-day plans easy, with supermarkets, shops, and restaurants nearby and the beach just a short walk away. My three-week stay at Club Olympus Garden City was incredible. The apartment was exceptionally clean and felt brand new, with a spacious kitchen and a fantastic shower. It had the spotless feel of a hotel. I especially liked being close to the pool, with a pretty view over it. The staff and amenities were top-notch, and I can't praise Club Olympus Garden City enough. I'm already looking forward to coming back.
