I nearly cancelled after reading the Google reviews, even though I’d already booked through Booking. I’m glad I went ahead, because this turned out to be one of the best holidays of my life. Our room, number 600, was perfect and looked just like Talia G.’s photos of room 700. I think the condition depends on the owner you rent from. The lift did look old, but we had no real problems. Our room seemed newly renovated, with a particularly nice bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. There was even a bottle of champagne in the fridge as a gift. Step outside and you can see the Teide. We skipped the pools and went straight to the beach. Parking was the one drawback: some evenings there were no spaces left, so we had to look for a spot nearby. For a pint of Guinness, try the Irish pub next to the hotel, or get a brilliant Italian Nutella croissant at Hygge Cafe. Relax and enjoy.

I stayed in one of the apartments last week. It was clean and tidy, with good amenities, and the washing machine came in handy. The location is good, with a view of the beach from the balcony. It was also great to be able to take the public bus to and from the airport.

I was impressed and really enjoyed my stay. My apartment was superb, and other guests seemed just as pleased, though what you get inside can vary since the apartments are privately owned. Check carefully before booking: some have no balcony, air conditioning varies, and Wi-Fi and TV channels may differ too. The building looks a bit tired, but work seems to be underway. In October 2025 one pool was being thoroughly refurbished, while the other large pool was open and the water looked sparkling. That feels like a real effort to improve things. The location worked perfectly for me, with a lovely, safe beach, restaurants and bars about a 10-minute walk away. The bus terminus is 100 metres away, and it’s a 30-minute ride to the airport for €3.70. You get more than you might expect for the price.

The negative reviews are accurate. Our apartment was nicely finished, but the water ran brown, and we had a few other issues inside. I think the apartments are privately owned. We could have accepted the construction if the work seemed to be improving things, but there were broken tiles, rusty posts and building mess everywhere. The entrance was boarded up, and the shared areas felt like they were just being patched.

Avoid this place. It felt more like a construction site with some rooms rented out as Airbnbs than a hotel. There was constant drilling, and with no sound insulation, highway noise came through all the time too. Although parking was advertised, there was none, and street parking was far away. The room was dirty and poorly renovated. Terrible experience.
