I’d booked a room for just myself, but my wife came with me to check in. I was told she couldn’t stay, so she had to leave and stay somewhere else with her sister. I asked if she could at least have a beer at the pool bar while I checked in. They said they had no beer, only coffee, yet people were drinking beer at the bar that evening. Ridiculous. There was no shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste or toothbrush in the bathroom. The shower handle hanger was falling apart and wasn’t fixed to the wall, so it fell on my feet as soon as I got in. The curtains didn’t cover the apartment’s glass door, which made privacy questionable. It’s far from the beach, around a 25-minute walk, or you can drive and struggle to find parking. You can hear the cars on the road quite loudly at night. The address in Maps is wrong.

I like this place. It’s a nice oasis of clean, new places to spend a little time in great weather, with lovely ocean and island views. It doesn’t have the feel of the grotesque high-rises around here, with their smelly streets and way too much yuck. It’s a good place to land, and a lovely Italian family owns it.

We were very disappointed. Our apartment was unfinished: the dishwasher, oven, hob and extractor weren't connected, the sink overflow wasn't hooked up, and the kitchen was poorly fitted and damaged. The bathroom door was damaged too, and there were no English TV channels. The owners wouldn't offer any compensation. The complex itself has eight bungalows or apartments in a quiet spot about 1 km from Playa Paraiso, and it still seems to be a work in progress, with plans for two more units and upgrades to the existing ones. Look at the photos and judge for yourself.

A friendly place to stay, with welcoming owners. It's a little close to the road, but worked perfectly as a base for exploring beautiful Tenerife by car or bus. The bus stop is right outside Paraiso Villa's.

I haven't stayed there, but I follow them every day. If those are the prices they're quoting, I'm not sure about it. For the same price, you could get full service at any luxury hotel in Playa Paraíso.
