I was surprised that basic supplies were missing. Other Airbnb rooms I've stayed in came with hand towels, sponges, cloths, and pool towels. I understand you're paying for a private apartment in a villa, but those essentials still shouldn't be overlooked.

The owners were really friendly and helpful, and the heated pool was a nice touch. The villa is roomy, with a good, fast, dependable internet connection and a view of pico Teide. It works well for a big group, a workation, or a retreat.

A lovely pool, good wifi, and a great villa for a work-ation.

The big terrace and roomy shared dining and living space were highlights. The communal kitchen is too small for a large group, though, with just one four-burner stove and not many pots or pans. The house is well equipped to a high standard otherwise, and it's close to the beaches and tourist centers in the south of the island. It suits around 15-25 people, but the way the rooms and bathrooms are arranged does limit flexibility somewhat.

The apartment was spotless and spacious, and we were treated really well. The views were wonderful. I'd come back next year.
