The location was hard to beat, right by the beach, bars, restaurants and disco bars, and only a five-minute drive from Siam park and Siam mall. We’ve booked to come back again. We stayed five nights with family in a one-bedroom apartment at the end of the building. It was spacious and clean, with a side view of the pool and sea. The balcony was larger than usual and had a table and four chairs, with another set inside. There was also a large pull-out sofa bed and extra sheets. The kitchen had all the utensils, plus a small pack of cleaning products. The shower was powerful, and shower gel and toilet rolls were provided. Some door frames were peeling away from the walls, so the rooms could use an update. We paid extra for breakfast. There was a wide choice of cereal, pastries, donuts, bread, yogurt, fruit and cold meats, as well as hot food like eggs, sausages and beans. The food was good, though the hot items were a little cold. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and Georgia from Italy, the rep, was an absolute sweetheart. The pool is large, though it felt a bit cold, which may be normal at this time of year. There’s a pool bar with 2-for-1 cocktails every day around 3 or 3:30. The hot tub was broken and looked as though it had been that way for a while. There’s a private car park attached, not run by the hotel, but guests get a special rate of €10 a day. That’s handy because parking nearby is very limited. Nighttime noise wasn’t great on some nights, since it’s beside Veronica’s strip, and we saw a few stag parties staying here.

We had a really pleasant, relaxing stay at Palm Beach Hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and well cared for, with a lovely view. Everything felt organized, and the facilities were looked after nicely. Staff were always friendly, polite and ready to help. It’s also well placed for getting around, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. I’d recommend Palm Beach Hotel for a comfortable stay and would be happy to visit again.

We were there for a lads’ holiday and had fun, which was the main thing. The pool area was lovely, and the hotel had plenty of facilities for the price. The rooms are dated, and the air con has a smell, so don’t expect too much from them. There’s loads around the hotel, and generally it’s a nice place for what it costs.

The pool was fine, and the staff making cocktails were really nice and polite, especially the lovely Italian woman. Reception staff were pleasant too. The location in Las Americas was handy and easy to get around from. I was annoyed that check-in required a €100 deposit, which was returned up to a few days later. The TV also couldn’t access apps like Netflix or YouTube because it needed a password. Reception told me that wasn’t possible because it “isn’t a smart TV.” The room itself was generally satisfactory and did the job for a couple of days.

The location is ideal and the staff were nice enough, but the room was very dated and wasn’t properly clean when we arrived. Some sheets had stains, the bath was dirty, and the bath drain was so bad that we had to wait 30 minutes between showers for the water to go down. We had two adults and three kids but weren’t given fresh towels, so we had to ask. Cleaning only once during the week wasn’t great. I’m still waiting for the 100 deposit refund, over two months later. Both hotel management and the admin team have ignored me.
