Álvaro is easy to reach, friendly, and quick to help if you find anything missing. The country house worked really well for our family and friends, with spectacular scenery around it and lots of places to visit within a half-hour drive. Highly recommended.

The issue was the noise complaint at midnight. We’d had a party the night before, and the owner told us off, saying she didn’t think that kind of noise was appropriate, even though our neighbors hadn’t been bothered on Friday night. My friends and I feel that if this rural house isn’t meant for parties or leisure stays, guests, especially young people, should be told beforehand. We’d also asked about bringing an inflatable pool. The owner thought it was a bad idea after seeing its size, despite knowing the house was for 10 people. She said we were taking up all the shared space, while our neighbors were enjoying it just as much as we were. Apart from that, my stay had been fine.

The hosts made everything easy, from sorting out a travel cot to arranging key pickup and return. We were in town for a wedding in Aguilar and stayed two nights. The house was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and it was wonderfully cool at this time of year. We enjoyed the tea, pastries, and chocolates, and the patio looked lovely, though we barely had time to explore it. Thanks so much. We hope to come back.

The beds were really comfortable, and both the surroundings and the local people were lovely. The house itself took 24 hours to warm up because the owners turned the heating on very late. There was also very little firewood, just two logs for three days, and no kindling to help get them going. Cleanliness could be better, and the furniture was quite worn.
