The beach nearby was good for volleyball, and I enjoyed the area for kayaking and other watersports. The hostel itself was nice, with cool, quiet rooms. Juan Carlos, Anna and Marien were very friendly, and they helped make my time in Águilas and Cartagena great. The location was nice too. The cards kept deactivating, so I had to go all the way to the other hotel to get them working again. The vending machine never worked and took €2 from me, which I still want back even though I’m in the UK. Also, the shower doors barely closed and left a small gap.

The place was disgusting and neglected. There were hairs on the bed and cockroaches on the floor, the toilet locks didn’t work, and the shower doors were practically see-through. The surrounding area was run-down and poor.

I loved paddle boarding here, and Juan Carlos was especially amazing. The staff are incredible and the facilities are great. Such a wonderful week, thank you ❤️

On a school trip, I found stains on the pillow and barely any room at all. There was no fridge, wardrobe, or bath, and the bathroom door didn’t lock. My window had bars on it for some reason, probably to stop people jumping out because the room was so bad.
