The indoor pool was a nice bonus and warm enough. We had a fantastic Christmas break, with friendly staff and a very clean bedroom and lounge overlooking the sea. There was plenty of free parking, and the paid parking wasn't too expensive either. We booked half board expecting a buffet restaurant, but perhaps because there weren't many guests, our meals were served in the restaurant instead. The buffet breakfast had a good selection. Christmas Eve dinner was absolutely fantastic, with excellent service from the waitress and waiter. It was a surprise, since on our Christmas trips away, the special meal has always been on Christmas Day. We've been spending Christmas in Spain for about 25 years. Our final night had a buffet dinner, and all the food was very good. The wines had a good range and price.

We were really disappointed. In February, we paid 200€ a night for a tiny, stuffy room with two double beds pushed together, for our family of four. It felt cramped and nobody slept well. Each person got one miniature pillow. I've never seen pillows that small. The fridge was broken too. I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool, but it was only open from 11-6pm, exactly when we're out enjoying our vacation. We stayed in some other great hotels on the trip for the same price.

Staying in two rooms would have been disappointing, so I asked for help changing my reservation to a Family Room. I’d accidentally booked two non-refundable Twin Rooms through Booking.com and couldn’t sort it out either there or with customer service. It felt like there was a misunderstanding, and the hotel had a Booking.com request about the change that apparently hadn’t received a reply. My booking number is xxxxxxxxx. Update: the hotel kindly changed my two single rooms to a family suite. Thanks a lot!

The walk into town takes a bit of time, but going along the seafront makes it lovely. The hotel’s in a great spot, and the staff are wonderful. I love having a drink on the terrace with the marina and ocean in view.

It’s a beautiful, quiet spot with the beach just around the corner. Breakfast was OK, and the custard pastry was FANTASTIC. I’d come back just for that, even though they couldn’t find out the bakery’s name that day.
