We had a great time here. The apartment is on the first floor of a traditional house in a lovely town, and it’s quirky but well equipped. The owners’ workshop and shop are downstairs, and there’s a pleasant terrace for eating outside. Getting around is handy, about 20 minutes from the airport and 10 from the coastal motorway. The beds were very comfortable, though quite low, which could be tricky for anyone with joint or sight problems. My main concern was the steep, open wooden staircase to the bedrooms. You have to come down backwards, and the bathroom is on the floor below.

The bedding was comfortable, and the apartment was clean, cute, and practical. It’s right in the historic center of pretty Aguimes, and we got a very warm welcome. We’d recommend this place.

The apartment and its terrace are somewhere you can really settle in and feel at ease. Aguimes itself is a small, peaceful town.
