La Gomera has a lovely sense of calm throughout the island. When I travel there for work, I stay in this village or Hermigua, both peaceful places with very friendly neighbors. The food in all the bars and taverns is excellent. This is a typical village, with stone streets and houses that are over 100 years old.
A village restored with a lot of care, dating back to the 17th century. Its picturesque lanes form a charming little maze, and it’s well worth exploring on foot.
The apartments are quite nice. The pool isn’t working, though, and if it were open the place would be absolutely fantastic.
The holiday apartments are beautiful and furnished with good taste. The pool, unfortunately, is out of service.
I had a very pleasant stay in this typical La Gomera village.
