The surroundings around la Posada are hard to beat, and the visit to the Almazara is something you really shouldn’t miss. We were a group of 13 over New Year’s Eve 2024 and stayed four nights. The restaurant was just for us, so we held our uvas party there, which was great. The rooms were huge and very clean, the food was very good, and Manuel, the owner, was warm and accommodating with all our requests.

The rooms were really spacious and nicely decorated, and breakfast had a good variety: fruit, cold cuts, toast with butter and jam or tomato. Dinner was delicious, with a set menu offering a choice of starters, mains, and dessert for €20 per person, plus a €10 children’s menu. We stayed one night and got excellent service from friendly, helpful staff.

The owners are a very friendly family who know the region well, and their directions and advice were a big help. We found the food excellent, and the place itself was clean, welcoming, and peaceful, just right for relaxing. A highly recommended country inn if you’re exploring the area or hiking routes like the Camino de Hierro, about a 30-minute drive away. Thanks so much!

The portions are generous, the prices more than fair, and the service is warm and friendly. I can only speak for the restaurant, but it’s a simple place I’d highly recommend. The homemade food is well prepared and flavorful, the familiar kind you’ve always known. Great for a relaxed, unpretentious meal with excellent quality. I’d definitely come back.

We’ll be back to hike the Iron Route. This is a magnificent, peaceful inn with an impeccable host, well placed for enjoying the Arribes del Duero. The cuisine was superb, with a restorative dinner and a good breakfast. Highly recommended.
