The breakfast was great, and the modern, spacious rooms were spotless. The villa sits right on the edge of Ahigal, making it a handy base for exploring Extremadura by car. Our host was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel at home. I hope I can return someday.

Jorge is the best part of staying here. He’s warm and friendly, and really makes an effort to help you feel at ease in his home. The gardens, kitchen, and bedrooms are all looked after with such care that it’s hard to believe how beautiful, clean, and well-kept the place is. I’ve stayed in plenty of places, but Villa Cardadorum is among the loveliest. There are still a few unfinished things, though they don’t take away from what’s already here. Ahigal is a village, so finding a hotel of this standard there was a real surprise. The rooms and the surrounding area are both a pleasure to enjoy.
10/10
The rooms are roomy and thoughtfully put together, with a homely feel. It’s a peaceful, well-kept hotel with excellent service and lovely surroundings. A great spot to enjoy nature and switch off for a while.

We had a lovely weekend here. The country house has what you need, with fresh air and plenty of peace and quiet. They’re also working on a few additions that should make the place even better once they’re done.
10/10
Everything was a 10/10, from the service and comfort to the cleanliness, decor, and peaceful atmosphere.
