The traditional house is really well kept, and the host was very kind. Outside, there are pristine hills, friendly horses, and cowbells ringing. It feels peaceful, even though San Sebastian is only about a 30-minute drive away.

The rooms had thoughtful equipment, nice views, and felt like good value. There was parking and breakfast on offer, and we managed fine even though the hosts don't speak much English. You do need a car to get here. There isn't much to do nearby beyond enjoying nature, which is great if that's what you're after.

My partner and I came from Valencia to see San Sebastián, and staying at this rural house turned out to be a great decision. Orio, a charming village, is nearby, and from there it's easy to take the train into central San Sebastián. That suited us since we didn't want to drive every day, especially into town. The house was quiet and surrounded by green landscapes, with lovely views, and nobody bothered us. Everything was spotless, too. María Jesús was a delight and always available when we needed something. She gave us great suggestions for places to go and made a generous, delicious breakfast with homemade croissants, juice, coffee, toast, and more. Thanks for everything, María Jesús. We'll be back. A hug from Valencia!
