Hostal Sa Paissa - Adults Only

We were seated straight away, which seemed a good start, but the service spoiled the meal. The steak arrived long before the rest of the food, and my partner eventually began eating before it went cold. The other dishes came out slowly, and the peppercorn sauce didn’t arrive until 20 minutes after the steak. The food was generally fine, if nothing special. The crispy chicken was supposed to come with mango sauce but arrived with sweet chili instead. It wasn’t a huge issue, though the menu needs updating. When we said we wouldn’t pay for the sauce, the waiter threw the bill down in front of my sister-in-law. We paid and left right away. Wouldn’t recommend.

The pizza was delicious, but the seafood paella I ordered came with vegetables instead. It wasn’t the paella I’d hoped for, and it ruined my evening. They took €10 off the bill, but my mood was worth £1,000,000 to me. The service was 0, and I wouldn’t recommend it. There are amazing restaurants nearby that you should go to.

A great spot for evening drinks, with some good musical acts. The ABBA tribute was my favourite, though they also have more recent music.

It was nearly a four for me. The cocktails were good, but pricey for their size, and the food was OK. The ribs tasted alright, though they were more drizzled with a watery honey mix than glazed. The roast chicken tasted good but didn’t have much meat on the bones. Staff were friendly and polite. I shouldn’t have had to ask three times for ice for my bottled water.
