The sea views and sunsets were amazing, and the pool was great. The location is lovely, but you need a car. It’s quite a walk to Son Bou beach and the restaurants with young children. We booked last minute for a stress-free break after seeing nice pictures, but were very disappointed by the inside. It wasn’t clean. Waste in the utility room was rotten, water was running everywhere, and ants got into every room and somehow reached all the food we bought. The kitchen is dated, with dirty drawers, and we had to keep moving the dishwasher to open the oven. The bathrooms weren’t very clean either, and only two of the three had a hairdryer. The bedrooms were disappointing: uncomfortable beds, just one pillow, no waterproof hygienic layer on the sheet, and a noisy metal headboard that wasn’t attached to the bed, with nails poking out where your head goes. There was mould on the curtains. Storage and air conditioning were good, but the accommodation inside badly needs upgrading and cleaning.

It was a great holiday with beautiful weather. The kids loved the pool, and there’s an outdoor barbecue. The bedrooms all have A/C, the showers are decent, and the small kitchen was fine. Everything worked, and the place was clean and roomy in a quiet area. Son Bou is about a 15 to 20 minute walk away, and the nearest restaurant is 12 minutes on foot. I wouldn’t recommend that one because it’s too expensive, though Son Bou has some decent restaurants. There’s also a small supermarket four minutes from the villa with decent produce. A hire car is a good idea for exploring.

The price didn’t feel justified. The service was very impersonal, with no explanation about the house. The furniture and appliances are old, the lawn was burnt, and the spring mattresses were uncomfortable. We had to call because the refrigerator and shower tap weren’t working. There are shutters but no blinds, so a lot of sun comes in.
