The pool was a highlight, and the apartment worked well for a quiet self-catering stay away from the busiest tourist areas. It was all good otherwise, though the surroundings could use a general tidy and clean. The room also gets pretty hot during the day, so a fan would help.

Once inside, the place looked just like the photos. The building put me off at first, but the room was clean enough, basic, comfortable, and well furnished. It felt like a rural escape. There’s no air conditioning, so bring a fan in summer.

A lovely, simple place in the middle of nowhere. I stayed in one of the self-catering apartments. It’s clean and no-frills, but I’d bring a fan.

It seems to be closed now, with a set of somewhat run-down air b&b apartments in its place.
