Hotel Valdevecar

Alberto was a delight and went out of his way to help with some unusual requests for us. It’s a small, intimate hotel, and the host always has time for a chat, giving the place a warm, friendly, almost home-like feel. It sits a little outside Albarracin, which adds to the quieter, more personal atmosphere with nature, the host, and the other guests.

We came to the Albarracin area to climb, and the hotel let us store our crashpads. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke English well. It was an excellent place to stay in this small town, with a reasonably priced grocery store a short walk away and the town center a little farther on.

The service was great, and breakfast was simple but nice. The rooms are basic, though comfortable and clean. It’s close enough to walk into town if you like. Recommended.

There’s a private parking lot, apparently a rarity in Albarracín, and the place is far enough from the lively center to stay peaceful while still being a short walk away. The rooms are clean and tidy, it’s very cozy, and the owner is always glad to help with whatever you need. It has everything you could ask for.
